ELEMENTAL EMBODIMENT - WEEK 5 ~ WATER (of a 5 week series)

Week 5 - we call in the Medicine of the WATER element.

Once our energy has become unstuck and released after the fire, we invite the medicine that water brings us; renewal and rebirth — we are more free to explore the other side of letting go, a feeling to a healing dance. 

To dance with the water element is to enter the world of fluidity, flow - our feminine principals.

We explore Shape-shifting; in which we learn to surrender our attachment to one form, .. exploring the fullness of movement, new ways to move, accessing unlimited possibilities and infinite potential.

There is the invitation to explore some contact dance principals, contact activates our biological longing for connection as human beings - as one family. Connection brings us to feel love as our essence, to grow human beings who are conscious & compassionate to each other & the elements of the Earth.

Ultimately the quality of Water opens us to the eternal flow coming from source to receive the powerful gift of purification.

As always, our dance journey is explored in sacred, safe, space with an incredible, full power music mix!

In Water - "We Dance our fear into courage, our anger into forgiveness, our sadness into surrender, our joy into generosity and our compassion into action, moving from fear to trust, separation to unity."

Plus! Our special guest - Zarn from Sound Wave Healing, will lull us into a sacred sound experience to follow on from our water dance. Zarn is an incredible sound healing practitioner, singer and multi-instrumentalist musician. This will be the perfect deeply relaxing, expansive experience to enjoy after our dance.

MARNIE DEVI HUDSON - dance, yoga, meditation, personal transformation, spirituality is a way of life!

It was through the transformative and liberating nature of Ecstatic Dance, that I discovered an authentic, heart-centred awakening. 

In 2014, Marnie completed her teacher training with Malaika Darville to facilitate 5 ELEMENTS DANCE. Soon after Medicine Dance was born. Ever since, she has been holding Medicine Dance on local dance floors, featuring at festivals and private retreats. 

 ABOUT - MEDICINE DANCE 
is a moving dynamic meditation, an ecstatic, some what shamanic / free-style dance journey guided metaphorically by the elements.. the elements of nature; ether, air, earth, fire, water, the elements in ourselves, the elements of life... and our interconnection with it ALL! 

Marnie will intuitively guide you with minimal but poignant faciiltation, accompanied by an awesome musical soundscape along with the collective energy of the group for a truely expansive, deeply releasing, transformational, healing and connective dance experience.

This DANCE experience is absolute medicine for our body, heart + soul !

Mid 2020, Marnie turned her practice to an ALL Women's Medicine Dance + Wisdom Circle. With select themes to explore and additional guest co-creators, the full experience offers an opening for a deeper, more wholesome experience. Medicine Dance Sanctuary creates an opportunity for a rich, deeply connected sisterhood to flourish.

Mid 2022, Marnie trained with Cacao Queen Daisy Kaye, to learn the sacred alchemy of the medicinal magic of CACAO.  Bringing in another element of awakening, transformation and healing to the Medicine Dance Sanctuary.

It is my heart's calling + prayer that this practice of Medicine Dance becomes a blessing of powerful conscious medicine for the individual, the community + our Mother Earth, as a way to create a loving ripple effect in this often chaotic world that needs grounding, unwinding, authentic connection, healing and rebirthing so deeply.
