After running a low key an intimate fasting space here at De Zen at the start of the year... We've been getting asked this question ever since.

❤︎ We invite you to step into the beautiful and safe container that is the De Zen Retreat property in Palmview.

❤︎This five day retreat will work to nourish you, while supporting a gentle cleansing of the body, mind and soul.

🌸 This potent journey involves three days of guided fasting, with a day of integration both before and after.

🌸 You will be nourished by organic and local produce and there will be 24 hour support to ensure that you are held and feel confident to surrender to your healing and learning (or un-leanrning…).

🍀 We will be using mother nature's medicine; fire, water, earth, air and the ether elements to invite in deeper transformation.

🍀 We will guide you through practices in movement, sound and breathing and there will be daily workshops.

🍀 The information and tools we share with you will lay the foundation for a smooth transition towards a healthier lifestyle once you leave this 5 day bubble.

🍀 We will also provide and encourage time for space.

🍀 Spaciousness to just be in nature, to be still. To simply be with yourself and take the time to rest.

💥 About Charlie
My personal journey to thriving, began when a decade + of the party lifestyle caught up with me. I was busily minding my own drunk business, when my flawless gut health decided to quit. Driven by obsession, I dove into many a rabbit hole to find healing. Not every ‘health’ vortex served me well and I went through dark periods of orthorexia and disordered eating. I have now come through to the other side of these darker days, but my journey is definitely still going. Over the last 8 years I have learnt and un-learnt so much. I have definitely learnt what NOT to do, especially in regards to fasting and I have learnt the hard way that there are no quick fixes.
I am so grateful for my physical breakdown, as it had a butterfly effect on my whole life. In pursuit of becoming my brightest self, I became a yoga and meditation teacher. In my exploration of every potential healing modality, I found Rebirthing Breathwork and am now a facilitator. I travelled the world in pursuit of healing communities and as a way to retreat. I essentially became a guinea pig in my own little lab and I have no shortage of tales to tell and tricks to share.
It is my dream to now guide others down a path that was not well lit for me. To help others with transition and integrate healing into their daily lives. It brings me so much pleasure to navigate and inspire people towards and into their own divine power. I want to encourage you to come on this journey with an open attitude that is not coloured by the past. I truly believe we have everything we need within us to heal, we just need a little guidance to help us get out of our own way.

I always knew there was more to life then just surviving and getting by. A yearning to discover and feel true infinite potentiality that we all have access to.
I believe this comes from an awareness and INTENTION of 'BEING' in true alignment - Physically, Mentally, Spiritually and Emotionally.
As a baby and young girl I was very unwell... lots of hospital visits with High fevers, Constant mouth Ulcers that would break out all the way down my throat. Leaving me unable to eat or drink, Asthma, Serious Yeast, Candida & UTI infections.ALL before the age of 7
In my teenage years I worked in and ate fast food EVERY DAY for 7 years from 14-21 and drank AT LEAST 1-2 Litres of COKE a day.

✖️ ✖️ I wasn't fat, I wasn't sick, I wasn't physically suffering… AND YET I WASN’T THRIVING - not even close.✖️ ✖️

At 21 my life changed forever... I learnt something, saw something I could never unsee!!✓ "Becoming the Best we can Be". 🌟 This led me on an unveiling path to health & liberation. The fascination of how food can heal the body was strong! For the last 9 years I have been immersing myself in all things wholefoods, fasting, natural remedies and holistic healing.
From 3 - 10 day juice fasts each change of season, 5 day water fasting a couple of times a year, Raw Living Food months. For me everything with an intention of harmony & balance.I am so fortunate to have surrounded myself with some of the most incredible guides/teachers along the way... attending many health retreats around the country, online study and building a network around me of experts in their respective fields.
