Before you think this is some spiritual hippie mumbo jumbo let us drop a little deeper.

Elevate is a somatic expression and dance experience. This is an opportunity to feel, to get out of your mind and be in the expression of life.

Overview:

Elevate is a 3-hour somatic expression and dance experience designed to get you out of your head and back into your body.

Through breath, sound, movement and guided somatic practices, you'll learn simple tools for moving energy through the body, releasing tension and opening into authentic expression.

From there, you'll be guided into an ecstatic dance journey where you can let the music move you, explore your natural expression and experience the freedom of moving without judgment or self-consciousness.

We'll close with a deeply nourishing sound healing and meditation, giving you space to integrate, rest and receive.

What does this look like for those of you who haven’t experienced anything like this?

It means learning how your body can move when you don’t have a voice in your head telling you “you can’t move like that” or “someone will judge you for that”.

It means giving yourself the freedom to express, use your voice, dance and realise that how you want to express is enough.

So, what do we do?

In this experience you will be guided into the 4 principles of how to move energy within your own body before exploring this in dance, where you will have the chance to fully embody this for yourself.

In western culture people are often constantly in their head, trying to work out life, make plans and figure out all the pieces that keep them running in overdrive. When we sink beneath the mind and come into the intelligence of the body, we can learn how to bypass elements of the mind that allows relaxation, presence and openness.

This creates the ability to let go of stuck thought patterns, experience more joy and freedom and build deeper connection with those around you.

This experience is stacked where you are guided through tools of breath, sound, and movement that will teach you how you can support your own being and mind when it finds itself in a stressful state.

Alongside of this, through feeling and coming into the felt sense of the body, it opens an individual to feeling more deeply, allowing them to exist more in the present moment. Transmuting older, denser emotions and stories that are no longer needed and allowing a person to step more powerfully into what they wish to create.

What to expect?

Elevate is a guided 3 hour experience that has a number of stages.

Welcoming and drop in.
- This is where you are welcomed into the space and giving time to land in the environment.
Guided movement and expression
- This is where you are introduced to the 4 ways in how you can move energy within your body and supported to open in how you can express in the space
Ecstatic Dance
- This is where you are unleashed with your new found tools to enter into a journey of dance. Here you will find ways to let the music move you and find your natural expression amongst this
Sound Healing
- The work is done and it is time to be nourished. Rest and find relaxation in a guided sound healing and meditation. This is the integration part of the evening where your only job is to rest and receive.
Closing
- Say your final goodbyes and leave the mountain feeling refreshed and revitalized.
