Event description

Lessons from socially responsible and compassionate safari tourism in Zambia and Madagascar

Think Impact invites you to this in-person event to hear from Elizabeth Ellis from the Time + Tide Foundation and to join the conversation. Elizabeth will share a brief overview of both Time + Tide and the Time + Tide Foundation and what has brought her to Think Impact.

Elizabeth will be working as Think Impact’s inaugural ‘Thinker in Residence’ during November. She is Executive Director of the Time + Tide Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Time + Tide tourism company, providing socially responsible and compassionate safari tourism.

Elizabeth and Think Impact will be working together to drive thinking around the intersection between social and environmental outcomes – exploring questions including how this value is experienced and expressed in different cultural contexts, understanding the methodologies used to measure this value, and how we can design and invest in social outcomes to drive environmental outcomes (and vice versa).

We invite you to contribute to the conversation!

Register for this event by Friday 25 October.

If you cannot attend and want to learn more about this work, please contact Suzi Young at suzi@thinkimpact.com.au.
