Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

ASIST is the world’s leading suicide intervention workshop, designed to provide participants with the confidence and skills to respond to someone at risk of suicide. Over two days, this interactive training will equip you with practical tools to recognise when someone may be having thoughts of suicide, engage them in direct and open conversations, and create a safety plan that supports life.

The workshop is highly practical and evidence-based, combining teaching, discussion, and role-play practice so you can build skills that make a real difference. Whether you’re a community member, frontline worker, volunteer, or simply someone who wants to be better prepared to help others, ASIST empowers you to step in when it matters most.
