Elton John's Birthday Night Ride Bike Party

Celebrate the 78th birthday (a day late, we double booked our Tues.) of a giant of contemporary music and popular culture, Sir Elton Hercules John (aka Reginald Kenneth Dwight), with a social ride around Lake Burley Griffin. We’ll play his songs really loud on our Partybox speaker, so tell us what should be on the playlist. Or bring your own speaker and we'll share our playlist.

If you can, dress up as as one of your favourite Elton John incarnations. He really knows his costuming. (For an idea about what to expect on our bike party rides, here’s one we prepared earlier during Halloween).

We'll meet outside the Street Theatre, then ride a loop around the Central Basin of Lake BG, and stop for a meal/drink at The Jetty. We return to the Street Theatre via Lawson Crescent, Sullivans Creek, and the ANU campus.
