Embodied Changemaker is a four week introductory class designed to build your capacity for changemaking from the inside out.

It is for you if:

※ you are a seasoned changemaker looking to deepen your impact, influence or enjoyment of your socially conscious work;

※ you are curious about embodied leadership as a path to creating system change and are ready to start living and leading in congruence with your social values;

※ you want to deepen your own capacity for inner resilience, purpose and pleasure;

※ you work with, manage, guide, coach, teach or facilitate other humans - and you wish to deepen the impact and resonance of your work in a trauma-informed way.

A new paradigm of change making is on the horizon...

One where your body is your ally. One that is collaborative and connected. One that is deeply anchored in the seasons and cycles of the natural world. One that is trauma-informed and inclusive of many different forms of wisdom. And one where you the way you do your work, can be regenerative itself.

Embodied Changemaker will help you:

※ create greater impact + influence in your change making - in business, work, community + relationships

※ re-inhabit your body in a safe way and tend to your needs with more ease

※ weave spirit with social change - bringing together the political with the spiritual and the macro with the micro

※ facilitate safer spaces for other humans and build communities of care

※ navigate cycles, seasons + transitions with ease and grace

※ step into embodied leadership and reflect on the new paradigm of change making

※ prevent and bounce back from burnout- building capacity to sustain your activism, change making or social consciousness while still experiencing pleasure, joy and connection.

Guided by adult learning principles and incorporating practices drawn from embodied leadership praxis, polyvagal theory, yoga, Ayurveda, circle, mindfulness, somatics and guided reflection - this experience will generate new imaginings and possibilities for social change.

※ 2 x live 90 minute reflection circles

Class times:

Trainings: 8:00am Australian Eastern Time: Sep 10; Sep 17, Sep 24, Oct 1

Reflection Circles: 7:30pm Australian Eastern Time: Sep 15; Sep 29.

All classes and circles will be held via zoom and recorded/uploaded to the learning space if you can't make it live.

Curriculum:

Week 1: creating space + safety: creating space to reflect, regenerate, reimagine and reconnect.

Week 2: building capacity + resilience: how we build capacity to create change from within; tending to the discomfort in the micro and macro.

Week 3: deep resourcing: collaborating, co-creating, leveraging resources, tending to the flame and + building communities of care.

Week 4: interconnecting + embodied leadership: honouring cycles, forming linkages, integrating feedback + mapping from the micro to the macro.

Meg Berryman is an educator, coach, yoga and mindfulness teacher working in the nexus of ecology, social change, spirituality, sustainability and self development. Her life is an embodiment of the question - is there a better way? She seeks to find regenerative ways to live, lead, learn, love and do business. Alicia Crawford-Bell is Alicia is an activist, social change maker, yoga teacher, mother, nature lover and off-grid Tiny House dweller who is passionate about working towards social, economic and environmental justice.

She is the founder of Liminal Life and has over 15 years experience designing and facilitating personal and leadership development programs within the community sector. She is passionate about assisting others to transform their own lives and the lives of those around them and is particularly interested in helping people navigate and grow through major life transition.
