Embodied Narratives: A Visual Storytelling Experience
Description
Embodied Narratives is one of the most powerful experiences of our season. Built around an original storyline, each concert is thought-provoking, soul-stirring, and transcendent, reflecting on the world as it is, but always with an eye toward hope.
Each story is told primarily through dance, performed by the unparalleled dancers of Chadash Contemporary Dance Movement and choreographed by Artistic Director Kelly Archer and Associate Director and Resident Choreographer Stephanie McGill. The concert also features spoken word written and directed by Artist in Residence Jason Poullard, along with film, photography, visual art, and more.
Our concerts are more than just shows. They are experiences that create space to reflect on life, on what it means to be human, and on what life and humanity can look like.
Come experience hope in motion this August!
