What is Somatic Movement?

Somatic movement is a gentle, body-centered practice that supports deep connection with your physical self. Through guided movement, breathwork, and embodied awareness, you’ll begin to release tension, access inner wisdom, and cultivate a grounded sense of presence.

This workshop is a safe, supportive space designed for women to explore movement as a pathway to healing, empowerment, and self-expression.

Facilitated by: Julie Marsh

Julie Marsh is a holistic health practitioner, somatic healing facilitator, and Accredited Practicing Dietitian with a passion for helping people lead happy, healthy, and harmonious lives.

Blending eastern and western philosophies, Julie integrates evidence-based nutrition, kinesiology, somatic movement, and traditional healing practices such as Qi Gong and Tai Chi. Her approach empowers individuals to reconnect with their bodies, release stored tension, and restore vitality from the inside out.

Julie holds multiple qualifications—including a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honors), a Diploma in Holistic Health Sciences, and a Certificate in Calligraphy Health. With warmth, wisdom, and deep compassion, Julie meets people exactly where they are and gently guides them toward balance, embodiment, and long-term wellbeing.
