Embodying Climate Resilience: A Workshop

In this container we will explore several distinct, coherent ‘stories’ that frame how we understand and perceive the climate moment that we are living through. These stories include - but will ultimately transcend - the wilful denial and polyannaism of business as usual, as well as paralysis and grief of climate despair, before finally transitioning to exploring a coherent, grounded story of climate resilience.

We will use embodiment and role play exercises to unpack what it feels like, looks like, sounds like to inhabit and operate within each story. We will then use movement and role play to unpack various ways that we can respond to, move through and ultimately transcend these stories of our embodied crisis states.
