Misty Mountains Rainforest retreat 1st to the 4th of March 2024

Set amongst the beautiful rainforest sanctuary 45 minutes south of Cairns, this retreat welcomes you on a journey into sensuality through self-discovery, awakening the divine energy from within.

Over three transformative days, we’ll be taking you on a journey to explore self-love, empowerment, and healing through a blend of Kundalini Yoga, tantric tools, sensual workshops, sensual touch, sound healing, dance, and a fire show.

All meals will be catered for with some nourishing vegetarian food throughout the retreat, with a sensorial journey amongst the flavors that we taste.

The program entails the following;

Friday:

Afternoon - Welcome to country and smoking ceremony. Preformed one of the traditional owners of the land.

A time for you to set your heart on a path of sensual awakening and self-discovery, aligning with your desires and creative force of universal energy.

Followed by a guided rainforest walk. Reconnecting with nature, returning to the embrace of the Great Mother. The guided walk nurtures a bond with the Earth and all her sensuous beauty, inviting a sense of belonging and profound respect for our mother earth.

Evening – Sound Bath meditation: A full mediative experience guiding you access your chi energy. Then dropping into a Sound Bath, listening to the resonant sounds that create different tones frequencies and harmonics to promote relaxation and allowing the body to heal through its vibrational tones.

Saturday:

Morning - Kundalini Yoga: A combination of breath, movement, and sound. It derives from the Sanskrit word kundal, which translates to “coiled energy. Through the practice of Kundalini, we bring that energy up our spine through the seven chakras, and out the crown of our head. The goal of Kundalini is to increase your self-awareness by silencing your mind and unblocking your chakras so that your vital energy can flow freely.

Midday – Lunch with some free time to explore the rainforest and take some time to spend by the creek.

Afternoon - Awaken your inner sensuality: Identifying challenges around sensuality. Creating space for you to connect to your sensuality and work on self-confidence through meditation, theater exercises and sensual dancing.

Evening - Gong Bath: A form of sound healing designed to offer relaxation, emotional release, and pain relief by hitting a disc shaped percussion instrument using a mallet.

Sunday:

Morning - Total Love and Sexual Wholeness: Creating safety in your body and creating a safe container within the group. Diving deep into your heart space and the truth of love using breath work and somatic exercises to fully embody self-love. Then moving into a primal ritual and archetypal play to connect with your primal; raw, intense, desirous, and sacred part of your sexuality. This is a time to connect to your deep animalistic part of self. In the Tantric tradition, this darkness - combined with consciousness - is your aligned power. These practices together will give you an experience and feeling of sexual wholeness and integration.

Midday – Lunch with some free time to explore the rainforest and take some time to spend by the creek.

Afternoon - Sensory Touch Immersion: Starting with a welcoming into exploring the power of physical touch. Guided on an awareness journey to ourselves we are opening to a world of pure sensation. With the release of oxytocin, can lead you to a mind-altered states of consciousness bringing a deep connection to yourself. Beginning with group connection including eye gazing and vocal courts. Exploring the power of physical touch with gentle stroking along the energy lines of the body. Giving and receiving loving touch.

Evening - Dance and Fire Show: Time to celebrate your true essence. A journey of self-expression, setting free through movement and dance.

Monday:

Morning – Farewell Circle: meditation, taking a moment of gratitude, sharing the experience.

Facilitators:

Mae from The Nature of Sound Academy - Mae is a Sonic Artist, Coach and Program Facilitator. Valuing wildness and safety, she creates spaces where people can connect deeply to themselves and remember their greatness and unique powerful gifts. Mae discovered the healing power of sound over 8 years ago during her Kundalini Yoga teacher training. Since then, she has pursued her passion for sound healing and tantra, seeking knowledge through study with The Tantric Institute of Integrated Sexuality, Acutonics Australia, Master Gong Player Don Conreaux, and The British Academy of Sound Therapy. Mae creates professional but playful spaces, where the healing arts meet science and wellness. Mae will be facilitating Kundalini Yoga practices. Total Love and Sexual Wholeness workshop and Gong Sound Bath.

Julliette - Julliette is a spiritual life coach, podcaster, song writer, rapper, dancer and fire performer. She is continuously exploring and expressing her divine feminine energy through various forms of artistic expression. These diverse experiences have inspired Julliette to create a powerful workshop that will support participants to conquer their fears, shed shame and embrace their suppressed sensuality.Julliette will be facilitating the workshop Awaken Your inner Sensuality, putting on a fire show while we dance and bringing participants together for the farewell circle.

Bea Schrock-Opitz - Bea is a certified Tantra Yoga teacher, holistic nutritionist, dancer, passionate body worker and pleasure activist from Germany. She discovered the art and transformative power of Tantra, touch & movement on her travels through Europe and Asia. Her aim is to help others discover and embody their true power, wholeness and ability to boldly and authentically relate to others. Bea will be facilitating Sensory Touch Immersion workshop.

Kellie - Kellie is a Reiki Master, Sound Healer and DJ. Kellie started her spiritual healing journey through Reiki 11 years ago, she has since then taken upon a journey through sound. Kellie can take you on a journey using instruments that create different tones, frequencies and harmonics, known to promote relaxation, allowing the body to heal through its vibrational tones. Kellie will be facilitating the Sound bath workshop and playing a set including a variety of styles of electronic music.

Ivy (Fayrie-Flow) - Ivy is a FNQ local flow artist; Fire and all things LED/FLOW. Ivy specialises in intuitive movement, dance and flow. Ivy will be putting on a performance for the dance and fire show.

Welcome to bring with you a yoga mat and cushion or pillow, whatever you desire to make yourself comfortable throughout the workshops (some can be provided if necessary).
