Embracing Palestine Fundraiser ~ Join us for a special cultural evening where we support, celebrate, learn about, and embrace Palestine.

With our special Jerusalemite Palestinian, former resident of the Valley visiting us this summer, Jalal Akel Jr., aka. Jah~Layal, amongst friends and allies, we will be learning, feeling, listening, and embracing Palestinian culture and story through a wonderful display of Music, Poetry, Storytelling, and Dance!

At the spacious Hidden Temple, across from the majestic Mill River in Florence, MA, we will wrap up the evening by moving our bodies and embodying the experience with some slick Middle Eastern Rhythms and Melodies in an Ecstatic Dance container, curated by DJ Nash Otter, and Jah-Layal !

Ismail Abu Assad, from Mohawk Trail Food Truck, will be nourishing us with delicious Palestinian snacks and appetizers through out the night. 

There will also be Palestinian crafts and jewelry straight from Jerusalem available for purchase.

We are very excited to meet you at the Hidden Temple, where wonderful Palestinian and multi-cultural artists unite to embrace and raise the voice for Justice, Peace, and Freedom, and fundraise for Jalal and his family in Jerusalem, and his friend Amir's family from Gaza.

The Hidden Temple in Florence. 221 Pine St. Studio 310 3rd floor (Arts & Industry / Brushworks building).

Parking: Front parking lot or Back Parking lot behind the building (we will try and have a person ushering people where to park).
