Embracing Your Role on the Family Farm
Description
Join WOTL for a day of connection and clarity, supporting rural women and their role within the farming business.
During the seminar, Yorke Peninsula Farmer, WoTL Ambassador and Director Leanne Pridham speaks of her journey of becoming owner/director and business manager of her and her husbands cropping property. She shares the challenges and successes, discussing how knowing yourself and the skills that you bring to the farm enterprise is vitally important. Passionately believing all members of a family farm have something to contribute, the intent of the workshop is to provide tips and tools to help others on this journey, empowering them to embrace their role in the family farm and ultimately contribute to a stronger more sustainable family farm business.
You’ll also learn more about WoTL, our vision for an agricultural industry that recognises the valuable contribution of women, and our offerings to the region over the coming year
The day includes morning tea and lunch.
The full cost of this workshop is $250 which has been heavily reduced thanks to support of event sponsors.
This event is possible thanks to support from the Waterloo Wind Farm Community Grants Program.
