Embroider Your Pets Workshop

Obsessed with your pet (or someone else’s) and want to create a custom patch of their likeness? In this workshop, you will learn to make your own embroidery patterns from digital photos! We will also discuss various fill techniques and materials to make a professional-looking embroidery piece.

Students will have the option of embroidering their pets on felt (to make a patch) or fabric. Please bring several well lit digital photos of your pet we can use for reference. All other supplies will be provided.

Some previous embroidery experience is required because we will not be covering hand sewing basics. Students will leave with at least one pattern and all of the skills and supplies needed to complete their embroidered pet portrait. Due to the large amount of time these projects can take, this class is intended to help you get your project started and you will leave with all the materials needed to complete the project on your own timeline.

This workshop is appropriate for ages 18+ only.

About the Instructor

Madeline is a life-long obsessive accruer of hobbies who loves embroidery among many other crafts and anything that can extend the life of everyday items and keep them out of the landfill.
