Embroidered Christmas Pudding
Description
Join us for a relaxing morning of festive creativity and learn how to embroider a sparkling Christmas pudding decoration using felt, beads and sequins.
Whether you're an absolute beginner or have done some embroidery before, RSN trained teacher Amanda Rymel will guide you through the various steps to making your beautiful decoration. You’ll learn how to layer the felt shapes, stitch the leaves and berries and add decorative details, before assembling your hanging ornament.
Choose traditional festive colours or personalise your pudding with fabrics, threads and embellishments from your own stash.
All materials and use of tools are included (though feel free to bring along anything you'd like to add to your pudding), together with tea, coffee or juice.
At the end of the class you'll leave with a fabulous handmade decoration to hang on your tree or use as a thoughtful gift, together with the know-how to make more.
We're also very happy to run this class as a bespoke event for the perfect alternative Christmas get-together. Just email craft@handmadeworkshops.co.uk and let us know your requirements.
Amanda Rymel is a professional hand embroidery teacher and graduate of the Royal School of Needlework tutor programme.
