Embroidery Decorations Workshop

Create a festive embroidered tree decoration using inspired by Gathering Ground’s Community Garden and a reading from our seasonal almanac

In the workshop you will:

• Choose your favourite fabric for the background of your decoration

• Find colour inspiration in our Winter community garden

• Use embroidery techniques to transfer your drawings onto your fabric ready to hang on your tree or share as a gift!

This workshop is hosted by Erin Rhode. Erin has a degree in Textile Design and is passionate about sharing ways of upcycling textiles; to better look after our environment and provide a space for the community to connect with each other, slow down and get creative!

Location & Nearest Subway Station

Gathering Ground is located along the Forth & Clyde Canal on Applecross Street. The venue's nearest tube station is Cowcaddens or St Georges Cross.

There is on street parking around the venue. The closest Nextbike Station is located on Garcube Road.

About the Venue

The workshop will take place in the upstairs workshop spaces. The venue is fully accessible & with a ramp from street & accessible lift to the first floor.
