About the workshop

This workshop offers EMDR therapists’ key insights and practical strategies for adapting EMDR therapy to better accommodate the specific needs and experiences of neurodivergent clientele. Completion of basic training 1 is required to attend this EMDR Therapy Workshop

About the presenter

Dr Celia Falchi

Dr Celia Falchi is a psychologist based in Wellington, New Zealand. She has a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed practice focused on autistic and ADHD clients, and provides assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for this clientele. Celia also provides supervision, consultation, and professional training on autism and ADHD, including therapeutic adaptations for neurodivergent clients and trauma-informed approaches to care. She is an EMDR Consultant-in-Training, and has particular interests in trauma, interoception, and adapting EMDR therapy for autistic and ADHD clients. Celia is a member of the Australasian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA) and serves on its Education Committee. She has delivered workshops and presented at conferences and professional seminars, and brings both professional and lived experience to her work.
