Become an Emerge Mentor and support migrants and refugees to connect with your church as they begin their new journey in Sydney.
Why it Matters
Over 30% of Australians are born overseas. Migrants face language barriers, skill mismatches, and social isolation. Emerge Mentors help bridge the gap - offering hope, connection, and practical support through the local church.
Training Includes:
How to assist migrants in employment preparation
Gospel engagement with migrants
Best practices in mentoring
Promotes cultural understanding around integration
Case study reflections
The first training session will commence on the 21st Jan, 6-9pm.
The second ad final training session will commence on the 27th of Jun, 6-9pm.
Registration includes light supper, refreshments, and resources.
