Fundraiser Event to aid Evacuation for Palestinian Family of 6 from North Gaza

Fundraiser: Palestinian family of 6 need funds to aid evacuation from North Gaza. All proceeds go towards, medical, travel, basic necessities and legal aid.

Location: The Grace Darling Hotel (Bandroom), Collingwood

Acknowledgement of Country: We acknowledge that this event is taking place on the land of Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people whereby sovereignty remains unceded. We pay our deepest respects to elders past, present and emerging as well as extending respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people here today.

Time: 11th October 7pm - 12th October 1am

• Palestinian food and non-alcoholic drinks served from 7pm to 9:30pm

• Prints/Photos/Art for sale all night

• Palestinian film screening from 7:30pm to 7:40pm

• Open mic poetry and band accompaniment ('Spit') from 7:45pm to 8:15pm

• Auction of pieces donated by artists from 8:15pm to 8:45pm

• DJ Line-up and Set times - Gaz from 9pm to 10pm, Jil.dy from 10pm to 11pm, Primary Thug from 11pm to 12am, Bakri from 12am to 1am.
