The Environmental Health Directorate of the WA Department of Health is hosting a full day (5.5 hr) in-person seminar and webinar providing an overview on the following emergency management topics:
- emergency management arrangements in WA
- roles and responsibilities of the Department of Health for emergency incidents, inclusive of the Environmental Health Directorate and the Disaster Preparedness and Management Directorate
- environmental health case studies of recent emergency incidents in WA
- preparedness for local government Environmental Health Officers
- seasonal forecast 2023-24
This event is targeting local government Environmental Health Professionals or anyone with an interest in environmental health emergency management response and preparedness.
You have the option to order a ticket to the free seminar or webinar, starting from 9:30am to 3:00pm.
Ticket sales for the seminar end on the 8 November to ensure catering (morning tea and lunch) can be provided.
