Emergency Pedagogy CPD Training – Full Day (Sydney)

Join NECTA for a hands-on, full-day professional development workshop delivered by Emergency Pedagogy Australia—leaders in trauma-informed education and care.

This experiential training is designed for Drama Therapists, Creative Arts Therapists, and practitioners working with children and young people. Grounded in creative, embodied practice, you’ll explore how movement, play, storytelling, and the arts can support regulation, connection, and recovery after stress or adversity.

What You’ll Learn

Practical tools to support young people through movement, play, and creative expression
How to create safe, structured environments that rebuild stability
A deeper understanding of trauma as a whole-body experience
Ways to foster connection, safety, and resilience in individuals and groups
Strategies to support both young people and your own wellbeing

If you’re looking to move beyond talk-based approaches, this training offers practical, body-based methods you can use immediately.

Aligned closely with Dramatherapy principles, Emergency Pedagogy will strengthen your ability to respond to trauma with confidence, creativity, and care—in real-world settings.

This is not just theory. It’s active, engaging, and deeply applicable practice.
