Ohhh, The Magic of Babies: Get ready to make a difference!
Come join us as Epic students head to the Emergency Infant Services in Tulsa for a day of giving back! Emergency Infant Services is a nonprofit organization that offers assistance with basic needs items for children 5 years old and under whose families are facing financial and personal challenges. Their top priority is providing accessible, immediate help because a hungry child cannot wait.
Students! If you are a student looking for service hours/credit, this opportunity will help fulfill your hours.
Service activities will include the following: Sort Non-Monetary Donations, Stock Shelves: Diapers, Wipes, Formula

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:
Upon arrival, please check in with a Family Engagement Department Epic staff member who will be in Epic gear and located near the entrance. We’d also love to see you in your Epic gear!
ITINERARY:
- 9:15am Volunteer Check In
- 9:30-12:00pm Volunteers Time
- 12:00pm Conclusion
This Community Service Opportunity is for Epic Charter School Students 6th through 12th grade and Epic Staff.
CLOTHING & SUPPLIES RECOMMENDED:
- All volunteers please wear clothing and shoes that can get dirty.
- Athletic or comfortable clothing that aligns with the weather forecast and a water bottle are also recommended.
POLICIES: You will register using Humanitix which will hold your spot for the community service as a reservation. Parents, please register your Epic students who will be participating. This enables the school and the location to staff and plan appropriately. Our community service opportunities do have a maximum capacity. Therefore, we ask that when registering your students, you only register Epic-enrolled 12-year-old - 12th-grade students so that the spots are filled by our students.
MEDIA POLICY: This is a public event and photographs and or video may be taken during the activity. If you prefer your student to not have a photograph or video taken please let our Epic Family Engagement staff know during check-in.
CANCELLATIONS: As a reminder, if you sign up to come but are unable to make it, please cancel your reservation using your Humanitix confirmation email. This will open up spots for other students/volunteers.
- Go to Humanitix Confirmation Email
- Click on "Manage Order"
- Click "Refund/Cancel"
- Select ALL or manually select the tickets you need to cancel
- Click the "Review" button
- Click the "Confirm" button
Inclement Weather Plan: If we have inclement weather, we will send out communication by email through Humanitix to let you know if the community service has been canceled.
