ABOUT EMG MUSIC HUB:

EMG Music Hub is one of the Manning Valleys only multi-purpose music-focussed businesses which enables local Musicians, Music Tutors, Music Therapists, Recording Engineers and other music professionals to conduct their business out of one location.

Set up as a profit-neutral business by Scott Greenaway and Michael Eyb in 2023, EMG Music Hub relies upon rental fees from Musicans, Music Tutors and other music-focussed service providers to continue to operate.

All money raised by ticket sales for Even More Gooderer Festival go back to EMG Music Hub to offset the 12 weeks of the year that the Hub suffers from greatly reduced levels of income during the school holidays. These funds will directly cover the day-to-day costs associated with running the Hub, thereby keeping the doors open for another year!!

Located in Taree NSW, EMG MUSIC HUB is one of the Manning Valley’s only businesses centred on the provision of multiple music services.

The Hub serves as a location out of which Music Tutors can teach their students, NDIS managers can provide Music Therapy sessions by a university qualified music Therapist, and a place where bands can rehearse and also record their music.

The Hub was opened in 2023 by Long time mates Scott Greenaway and Michael Eyb. The idea was to provide a space out of which local Musicans and Music Teachers could operate. Their business model hinged heavily on only making enough money to cover expenses and service a modest financial buffer to cover unexpected costs. As such, whilst EMG Music Hub is not technically classified as not-for-profit, it is run as close to profit-neutral as is possible.

Soon enough, Scott and Michael's good friend John Race moved his business ‘Studio 27 Recording’ into the Hub.

Not long after this Scott and Michael’s affiliation with local music scene was strengthened, when local store Bass ’n’ Blues graciously agreed to relinquish it’s teaching studios, thereby allowing the Music Tutors who were operating their businesses out of that location to transfer across to The Hub!

EMG Music Hub now boasts a full complement of Music Tutors, Recording Engineers, Backline Hire specialists and Session Musicians, all of whom operate their own businesses under the one roof.
