Description

Leading Self through Emotional Agility

Emotional Agility: Leading Self  is a practical and reflective workshop that explores the most important relationship we have, the relationship with ourselves. In a world of constant change, uncertainty, pressure and competing demands, emotional agility helps us develop the self-awareness and adaptability needed to thrive. The workshop is built on the understanding that the healthiest, most sustainable people and organisations are not those that avoid challenges, but those that grow alongside them. By strengthening self-leadership and emotional agility, we build greater trust, authenticity and connection with others.

At its core, emotional agility is about the capacity to see ourselves and others in a wholehearted and healthy way.

Throughout the workshop, participants explore the thoughts, emotions and stories that can "hook" them and narrow their perspective or limit their choices. Through practices such as healthy emotional expression, gentle acceptance and understanding the function of our thoughts, emotions and feelings, participants learn how to show up to their experiences without being controlled by them. Grounded in a clear understanding of personal values, participants develop the ability to step out of unhelpful patterns and make intentional choices that align with who they are and what matters most. When we know who we are and what we stand for, we can walk our why  and navigate our lives with greater confidence, clarity and purpose, bringing our full selves to life's challenges and opportunities.

Facilitated by Jo Clegg.
