Emotions are our friends and our most intimate teachers, so how can we consciously honour our emotions as allies & guides??? Emotional Alchemy is a collection of workshops designed to help you learn how to decipher the messages & lessons your emotional world is trying to teach you. Come along to learn about the traditional psychological view of each emotion, followed by an experiential journey of exploring their deeper meaning. What are they trying to tell you? How will you act and respond to their call?

The second workshop in the series is entitled The Inner Voice of Guilt & Shame where we will take a journey to explore the psychological root cause of these emotions, discuss the difference between them and the lessons they have to teach us. We will also explore how subconscious beliefs of Guilt & Shame can trigger the absolute crap out of you, so this is a workshop you really don't want to miss!

We all know that our emotions have the potential to trigger us, so I will make sure to start the workshop with a brief overview of what happens to our bodies when we are "triggered" and explore a variety of tools & techniques for self-soothing & returning back to self. Your safety is of utmost importance. These workshops are aimed to help you approach your emotions with compassion, not re-traumatise you. So please know the afternoon will be explored extremely gently & safely.

A better understanding of your emotional world can help you to better appreciate the importance of self-care, self-soothing & the pivotal role you can play in establishing your own inner safety. Emotions can sometimes be difficult to experience, but they aren’t always negative. Rather, they create space to learn about ourselves, about others, and our relationships. Repressing or suppressing your emotions can be exhausting & draining on both your physical and mental health. As you learn how to express your emotions, label the feelings, and explore what they are trying to teach you in the moment, you will gain a insight about your deepest inner desires and be motivated to action their call. Your life becomes more stable and you develop a strong sense of peace and trust, which cannot be easily shaken by the outside world.
