Course Video: https://youtu.be/cJ0BVcG-JPA
Experience and learn practical research-informed strategies and tools for emotionally intelligent stakeholder relationships that you can implement straight away after this Course.
Course Focus: Identify and embed human-centred stakeholder relationship and partnership strategies.
Approach: Co-created and relational.
Benefits: Improve stakeholder experiences, build communication and trust, and enhance collaboration.
Why Emotional Stakeholder Engagement matters
Emotions are always present in our stakeholder relationships and partnerships. Stakeholder engagement strategies that include emotions can lead to stronger relationships, greater trust and enhanced collaboration. However, the emotional impact of these relationships is often overlooked or underestimated.
"How do stakeholders feel when they first engage with us?" "How does this come to life at every touchpoint?" "What behaviours and actions would support desired emotions?" These questions, and others that inform an effective stakeholder engagement strategy are often not asked.
Whether your stakeholders are customers, clients, partners, funders, volunteers or internal teams, this course gives you the tools to create connection, trust and collaboration so that your stakeholder relationships are impactful and human-centred.
What to expect
In this course you will use the Emotional Culture Deck, a deck of cards which sparks meaningful, face-to-face conversations about what drives effective working relationships.
You will also use carefully designed Canvases, Handbooks and Conversation Guides that help transform how people work together. You will learn, through experiencing a range of tools and resources, how this enables us to use a different lens to understand and shape stakeholder relationships, leading to emotional drivers being uncovered, surfacing what is unspoken, and building self-awareness, empathy and alignment.
