Event description

Please note: this event is run by the Small Business Development Corporation for small business owners in Western Australia only.

Finding and keeping exceptional employees can be challenging. Learn to cut through the complexity and focus on implementing the key strategies that will ensure your success.

In this workshop, you will learn practical tools and proven strategies to build teams that drive sustained growth, create clear goals for where you want your business to be in the future, and develop a sustainable and effective attraction and retention strategy.

Before the workshop, attendees will complete a short diagnostic tool to identify areas where your business excels at attraction and retention, as well as areas for improvement. This assessment ensures the workshop content is tailored to deliver the outcomes you need most.

This topic covers:
  • Discover how culture and values impact your ability to attract and keep top talent.

  • Understand what different generations value most in the workplace.

  • Explore strategies to manage capacity and maximise team productivity.

  • Master an effective step by step recruitment process.

  • Learn proven approaches to onboarding, employee engagement and recognition programs.

  • Develop a clear action plan to boost your attraction and retention results.

This workshop is designed for business owners looking to improve their employee’s performance and stability.
