Employee engagement is sometimes referred to as the holy grail for today’s business leader, and for good reason. According to Gallup, a highly engaged workforce means the difference between a company that outperforms its competitors and one that fails to grow.  

So what are high performing organizations doing to address the issue? 

According to EY and Harvard Business Review research, 89% of executives surveyed said a strong sense of collective purpose drives employee satisfaction; 84 per cent said it can affect an organization’s ability to transform, and 80 per cent said it helps increase customer loyalty.

This webinar, the first part of our partnership with Macquarie Business School, will examine the reasons for the ongoing decline in employee engagement and how CSR can be the best way to address this global issue. 

In this session, we will discuss why CSR and purpose can unleash a new wave of engagement, be inspired by companies that do it well and dive deep into how to engage employees through and in CSR. The webinar will also touch on issues relating to meaningfulness at work and the role of CSR can play in delivering a sense of affiliation.
