Welcome to the Work Ready Kāpiti #EmployerMeets Season for 2022.
What: A series of "speed-meet" styled events where local youth and businesses have the chance to connect and discuss all things...work.
When and Where: We are hosting a series of #EmployerMeets at three of our local colleges and the next one is at:

Who: All Kāpiti-based employers are welcome to register, and on the night will meet and chat with youth about their industry, the youth's skills, experience and plans for the future and share tips with them on becoming employed.
Attend all three events, or register for those that suit you. You are welcome to bring a colleague or two along or attend on your own, the choice is yours!
This is a FREE event open to all Kāpiti based employers, and rangatahi aged 15-24 years old. It offers
youth a great opportunity to connect with a number of local businesses from a variety of industries to find their
pathway into future training or employment.
It’s an amazing opportunity for local rangatahi to get a head-start on their career journey and for local businesses to get involved in this journey and connect with potential future employees.
You might even secure your next employee superstar!
We will have speakers, entertainment and light refreshments on the night, with the opportunity to network with other like-minded employers as well, all while supporting our own local rangatahi become Work Ready.

We have full contingency plans in place for all of our programmes in the various settings including our events and we
will only run live events if it is safe to do so.
The safety of our participants, employers, contractors and stakeholders is of paramount importance to us.
This #EmployerMeet will be run in line with current government guidelines and college policy.
We will be continuing to monitor the situation and the event will be postponed if the Board feels the event is not
safe to continue due to further outbreaks or increased restrictions.
