Welcome to Work Ready Kāpiti's first #EmployerMeet for 2023.
What: A "speed-meet" styled evening where local youth and businesses have the chance to connect and discuss all things work.
Where: This community based #EmployerMeet is being held at KYS - Kapiti Youth Support, Paraparaumu
When: Thursday 23rd March, 2023, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Who: All Kāpiti-based employers are welcome to register, and on the night will meet and chat with youth about their industry, the youth's skills, experience and plans for the future, and share tips with them on becoming employed - giving them valuable interview practice and the chance to make connections.
You are welcome to bring a colleague, or attend on your own, the choice is yours.
This is a free event open to all Kāpiti based businesses large or small, and rangatahi aged 15-24 years old. It offers youth the opportunity to connect with a number of local employers from a variety of industries to find their pathway into future training or employment, and for employers to get a glimpse of what local young people have to offer. You might even meet a potential new apprentice or employee!
We will provide light refreshments and the opportunity to network with other local employers, all while supporting local rangatahi to become work ready - it's a win-win.
