Employment Focus Group

SACID are running some focus groups with a researcher from the University of South Australia.

Focus groups are when people come together to share their thoughts and ideas about a topic.

This project is looking at different employment groups and their management.

The employment groups they are looking at are

• Australian Disability Enterprises (ADEs),
• Social Enterprises (SEs),
• Microenterprises (MEs),
• Open employment settings (Open).

We are looking for people with intellectual disability who work in these different employment groups to join a focus group.

You can join the focus group online or in person at the SACID Office at 302 South Road, Hilton.

You will get a $100 voucher for joining the focus group.

There will be morning or afternoon tea at the focus group.

Australian Disability Enterprises
Tuesday 10 October
10:00am – 12:00pm

Social Enterprises
Tuesday 10 October
1:00pm – 3:00pm

Microenterprises
Wednesday 11 October
10:00am – 12:00pm

Open Employment settings
Wednesday 11 October
1:00pm – 3:00pm

We can have up to 10 people join each focus group.

After booking your place you will be sent 3 documents:

• Participant Information Sheet
• Consent Form
• Distress Protocol.

You will need to read these documents before the focus group.

You will need to complete and send back the consent form before the focus group.
