EMpower 2024

EMpower aims to encourage, inspire and motivate students from ethnic minorities to run for leadership positions in Students’ Unions, including clubs, societies and any other positions of influence.

Attendees can expect discussions, games, networking and presentations from inspirational speakers and students on being a leader.

The two-day event is part of a campaign from the Union of Students in Ireland for equality in our society and for radical changes across our island.

EMpower 2024 is open to students and Students’ Union officers from ethnic minorities who are currently in Union of Students in Ireland affiliated colleges.

Day 1: Fri 16th Feb, SU Blue Sky Room
6pm - 7pm: Welcomes and Keynote
8.30pm: Social 

Day 2: Sat 17th Feb, SU Blue Sky Room
10am – 3:45pm
