Event description

A free event sponsored by Sacramento Breastfeeding Coalition's African American Subcommittee 

  • Learn more about the Sacramento Breastfeeding Coalition and available lactation education scholarships (Jasmine Carranza, Jackie Washington-Ansley, and Kavisa Wood)
  • Lactation Education (Troubleshooting common breastfeeding issues, Knowing your lactation rights, Optimizing Milk Production, etc.)
  • Breastfeeding Question & Answer Session with Kavisa Wood, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant 
  • Healing Wellness Session led by Holding Space
  • Lunch
  • Resource Fair featuring local community partners in the mental health, perinatal, and family support fields.

Each participant will be given a complimentary raffle ticket for potential prizes.
