Dr Anna Rowe SFHEA is a Senior Lecturer, Academic Development at the University of New South Wales Sydney, Australia. She leads various institution wide initiatives including professional development programs for staff, Advance HE Fellowships, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and academic mentoring. Anna has published widely in the area of higher education learning and teaching with particular interests in work-integrated learning, pedagogy, feedback, evaluation, peer review of teaching and the role of emotions in learning. Anna is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Work-Integrated Learning and past Director of the Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN).
The Empowered Educators series supports teaching quality and the facilitation of student learning through enabling you to apply evidence-based, fit for purpose teaching approaches which engage and motivate students, enable constructive relationships, and are continuously improved through reflective and scholarly practice.
In 2025, we are excited to support you to identify, implement and evaluate evidence-based enhancements in your context. We welcome back our engaged educators from 2024 and are looking forward to colleagues joining us for the first time.
