Justine will be joined by one of our Empowered for Employment participants, and their volunteer mentor, to discuss how the program works and the positive impact it has had on both of their lives.
The Empowered for Employment program is giving hope to women who have almost given up on their futures, supporting them to dare to dream again:
“I BELIEVE ONE DAY I WILL REACH MY BIG DREAM. SO I MUST BE
STRONG, TO YOU KNOW, TO RAISE UP AND TO GET THE BEST LIFE
FOR ME AND MY KIDS.” E4E Participant 2020/2021.
The program has also had a profound effect on our volunteer mentors too:
"It has been a wonderful learning curve for me, one where I learned how to be present in the moment and open to being me with healthy boundaries and respect for another woman impacted by the past." Sherl E4E Volunteer Mentor.
If you are unable to make it on the night, but would still like to show your support, please consider a financial gift here https://www.unitedwaywa.com.au...
or signing up as a volunteer mentor, or simply spread the word on our social pages!
Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you on the night!
