Empowered Me! Wellbeing & Empowerment for the Early Years
Event description
Empowered Me! is a fresh, new approach to Protective Behaviours Education, an approach that's based on empowerment as opposed to "keeping safe" from any underlying threat or danger.
This is a powerful and important distinction and one that positions Protective Behaviours Education in a completely new light!
The Empowered Me! Professional Development session specifically caters to educators within Pre-School, Junior Primary and Primary school settings. The session will outline key Protective Behaviour strategies within a framework of Positive Psychology and evidence based wellbeing practices.
Empowered Me! has been written and designed by an educator so it's user friendly and easy to follow. The program includes links and activities to Literacy, Numeracy, Health & PE and wellbeing for learning and is aligned with The Australian Curriculum and in South Australia, the Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum.
