Empowered Primary School To High School Transition

Join us for one or more empowering workshops designed to support different groups — students, you people, parents, educators, trainers, employers, work experience hosts and support workers—in navigating key educational and career transitions. Hosted by Kerry Morrison from Empowerment2Be, each session is tailored to a specific audience, focusing on the unique needs of late primary school students, high school students, and post-high school individuals. Ideal for anyone preparing for this important transition including those who "school can't", are homeschooling, disability or neurodiversity. These workshops will help provide information identifying individual strengths to overcome challenges and succeed in diverse learning environments.

Morning Session: Transition from Primary to High School
Focus: Preparing late primary school students for high school, building resilience, managing expectations, and identifying strengths that can bridge gaps where traditional schooling may fall short. This session is especially beneficial for parents, carers, support workers, therapists and educators who play a role in the transition process.
