EmpowerEd's Educator Wellness Symposium

Save the date for EmpowerEd's fall Educator Wellness Symposium this December 1, 2023 at the EmpowerEd offices at Open Gov Hub in downtown Washington, DC. 

Join other DC area wellness leaders for a highly-interactive conversation on School Safety & Educator Healing, including an educator-led panel on their best practices for healing and safety in their classrooms. 

Together, we will discuss how educators can heal from these accelerated times of school violence and hurt, and how upholding staff well-being in these moments creates safer schools overall. We will take the time for in-depth conversation and problem solving within small teams from diverse organizations. 

Come at 9:30am for a meet n greet, and we'll begin our session at 10am. Expect to leave the Symposium with a much richer understanding of both educator well-being and reestablishing a sense of safety in our schools. Plus, be connected with other local educator wellness leaders who are making important systemic changes.
