Description

Join us for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and practical insights designed to help women make informed financial, property, and life decisions.

With significant changes emerging from the Federal Budget, many women are wondering what it means for their wealth-building journey. At this special Empowered Women event, our expert speakers will explore the opportunities, challenges, and strategies that can help you confidently navigate the changing landscape.

What You'll Learn

  • Budget, Bricks & Balance - Financial Planning in a Changing Landscape
Patricia Garcia CFP® from Your Vision Financial Solutions will explore how recent Budget changes may impact wealth creation, property investing, tax planning, trusts, shares, and superannuation. Learn why successful financial strategies are about more than tax outcomes, how to create flexibility and choice in your financial future, and the key questions every woman should ask when building long-term wealth. This practical and empowering session will help you better understand the changing rules while staying focused on what truly drives financial success.

  • Budget, Bricks & Beyond - Property Opportunities After the Budget
Lauren covers what the Budget actually changed for property, and what to do about it. A read on the Brisbane market right now: prices off 5 to 10 per cent since the Budget, first home buyers sitting on their hands, investors gone and almost nothing listed. Then the changes themselves. Negative gearing narrowing to new builds from July 2027, the capital gains discount being replaced, borrowing capacities already down, and who each of those changes hits or misses.

Then four options that still work: two bed units in low density complexes, short stay, putting money into your own home, and rooming houses. Five micro apartments under one roof, still tax efficient as a new build, yields above 8 per cent, and the developer margin staying with you.

Finishes with Lauren's view on where the market goes from here.

  • Relationships, Wellbeing & Building a Balanced Life
You're empowered in your career, your finances, your investments. But there's another area that impacts your wellbeing and success. Your relationships. When intimate partnerships are strong, they support everything—your confidence, your decisions, your presence. When they're not working, they drain it all. Isiah will share how you can invest in stronger relationships to create balance and empowerment.
