EMPOWERING VOICES: WOMXN* IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

Join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and amplifying the voices of women and non-binary people in the music industry. This free event, presented in partnership with Central Coast Council Youth Services and Central Coast Music & Arts, is designed to foster meaningful conversations, strengthen community networks, and provide tangible strategies for career growth. Whether you’re an artist, sound engineer, manager, or industry professional, this is a space to connect, learn, and be empowered.

The evening will feature an engaging panel discussion with trailblazing industry professionals who will share insights into the progress, challenges, and barriers faced by womxn in music. We'll explore vital topics such as visibility and representation, work-life balance, and advocating for industry-wide change. Following this, a hands-on workshop will invite attendees to collaborate on real solutions, from creating safer spaces to increasing mentorship opportunities and reshaping industry norms.

Beyond discussions, this event is about building a strong and supportive community. Expect valuable networking opportunities, time for panel questions, and a celebration of the achievements of womxn in music. Whether you're looking to connect with like-minded creatives or gain new perspectives, this is a chance to be part of a conversation that matters.

This event is open to women, non-binary, and GNC people working in all areas of the music industry. The event is free with pre-registration. It will be catered and include vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
