Hi, I'm Lucy Du, and I'm passionate about empowering women to invest and build confidence in making investment decisions.

One of the barriers women have told me as it relates to VC investing is not understanding the basic principles of venture investing, and assessing VC opportunities.

In this session, I will be joined by the Scale Investors team (Samar, Chelsea and Roo) to help provide a practical starting point on how to look at VC investments.

• Different types of VC investments - Founders and direct investments, investing in VC funds
• Having a clear investment thesis 
• Key areas to consider when conducting due diligence on investments

This session is for women with sophisticated investor status looking to diversify outside of traditional investment strategies, and want to build long-term wealth for themselves and their families. In particular:

• Women stewards of wealth (through divorce/inheritance etc)
