The Fragrance of Emptiness- Dhumatala Temple
Event description
“The Fragrance of Emptiness”
A two-day meditation retreat with
Anam Thubten
Saturday & Sunday, May 25 & 26, 2024
In-person at Dhumatala Temple
(click here to register for the Zoom event instead)
Our conditioned mind often perceives reality through its own lens, creating an illusion of duality. This is the cause of all of our suffering. In the realm of the true nature of all things, most of our problems do not even exist. That realm is called emptiness. By meditating on emptiness, the mind-created illusions are deconstructed, leaving a space in which inner liberation can be experienced. The retreat will include silent sitting, inquiry, as well as Dharma talks.
Anam Thubten will use the Heart Sutra as the main text for this retreat. He has also written a commentary called The Fragrance of Emptiness, which is recommended reading for this retreat. (Click here for discount price)
