En Masse Tennis Lesson

Participate in a raucous game of casual sport with a crowd of like-minded enthusiasts and novices. Learn the rules of ‘Real Tennis’, which was reportedly first played in the renaissance period by King Henry Tudor and his court. Known as "The sport of kings", Real Tennis is the original racquet game from which modern tennis is derived.

Blurring the boundaries between athleticism, social exchange and play, this mad-cap adventure will be the highlight of your visit to the exhibition! Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. No prior experience of tennis is required. All equipment will be provided.

Limited bookings are available in advance. A small number of walk-in places will also be retained, so do try your luck!

Atlanta Eke is an Australian dancer and choreographer, who’s provocative and surreal choreographic works combine performance, installation and moving-image to dissolve fixed representations of the body. Through the creation of fictional worlds where humankind is bound together with media, machines and objects, Eke investigates the known and unrecognisable, actual and fantastic.

Victor Eke is a professional tennis coach with five years of experience playing on the global tennis circuit. This celebrated sportsman is the Co-founder, past President and still on the Board as the Director of Coaching, for the Kids Tennis Foundation. He is also the artist's father.’
