End of Year Soirée @ The Istituto

The Italian Cultural Institute is pleased to invite students, members and supporters of the Institute to its closing event for 2023.

The evening will be an opportunity to listen, directly from the voice of the director, to an account of the activities carried out by the Institute during this year and to a preview of the most prominent events planned for 2024 – all accompanied by delicious Italian food and wines in an authentic ‘Christmassy’ atmosphere.

This year the musical entertainment will be truly exceptional and with an all-female cast.

The first artist to perform will be the extraordinary classical pianist Elisa Berti, who will play some pieces from the Italian and international piano repertoire. Elisa will be followed by the famous Queen of Gypsy, Nadya Golski, who will transport the audience on a whirlwind journey through music from Italy, Naples, France and beyond. Nadya will be accompanied by an all-star ensemble: Sydney jazz music legend Eddie Bronson, composer and mandolin player Stephen Lalor and accordion player Leonid Beshlei.

The soirée will end with a rich raffle, during which it will be possible to win some splendid prizes donated by the several sponsors of the Institute.

• Non-members: AUD 45.00

With the entry ticket guests will receive a FREE raffle ticket. Additional tickets can be purchased on the night at the entrance.
