SUMMER SOULFEST - End Of Year Celebration

An evening of gratitude, connection & community

As another year draws to a close and we welcome the warmth and light of summer, we invite you to join us for a special evening celebrating the Summer Solstice, our community, and the year we have shared together.

Rather than rushing through another busy December, this is our invitation to pause. To gather, to reflect on the year that has been, celebrate the people we've shared it with, and welcome the season ahead with intention.

YOGA

We will begin with gentle yoga and grounding, allowing ourselves to arrive fully and settle into the afternoon. Jasmine, the heart behind Kind Mind Wellness, will guide us through a beautiful one-hour Summer Solstice yoga practice.

Through gentle movement, connection to breath and presence, we will step away from the busyness of December and create space to arrive fully in our bodies and in the moment.

No previous yoga experience is needed, come exactly as you are.

MEDITATION

From movement, we will move into stillness. Christalee, founder of Wild and Free With Christalee, will guide a soulful end-of-year meditation, creating space to reflect on 2026 and all that it has held,  the moments that brought joy, the challenges that shaped us, the people who walked beside us and the things, big or small, for which we feel grateful.

THE RIVERDELL GRATITUDE CAPSULE

From here, we'll begin a new Riverdell tradition.

You'll be invited to write a small, anonymous reflection of gratitude from your year and place it into our Riverdell Gratitude Capsule.

These words will be held by Riverdell and shared gently throughout the year ahead- little reminders of the stories, moments and connections that make up our community.

We'll then share a simple Summer Solstice moment, acknowledging the turning of the season, the abundance of light and what we each wish to welcome as we move into summer and towards a new year.

NOURISH, CONNECT & CELEBRATE

And then... we celebrate!

Gather around a beautiful summer grazing table prepared by Mel from Wellness With Mel, while the music plays and the afternoon opens into relaxed connection.

Eat. Talk. Laugh. This is your opportunity to wander the grounds, catch up with old friends or maybe meet someone new and simply stay awhile.

There is nowhere else you need to be and nothing more you need to do.

This is simply time to enjoy being together. Music will be playing as we gather beneath the summer sky, reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new ones into the Riverdell community.

CLOSING

Before we say goodbye, we will gather one final time to acknowledge the year we have shared. Let's close the year together - grounded in gratitude, connected in community, and welcoming the light of a new season.

To our members, facilitators, practitioners, volunteers, visitors, friends, families and everyone who has supported Riverdell throughout 2026...THANK YOU!

Riverdell is so much more than its buildings and beautiful grounds. It is the people who gather here, share their gifts, give their time and continue to bring this place to life. This afternoon is a celebration of all of you.

WHAT TO BRING:

Please bring your yoga mat, water bottle and comfortable clothing suitable for gentle movement. You may also like to bring a blanket or anything that helps you feel comfortable during meditation.

Most importantly, bring yourself exactly as you are.

There is no cost to attend Summer Soulfest.

As a member-based, not-for-profit organisation, community has always been at the heart of Riverdell. As we reach the end of another year, we wanted to offer this gathering as our way of giving back and saying thank you for being part of our 2026.

*Registration is essential as places are limited and catering will be provided.

If your plans change, that's completely okay. We simply ask that you cancel your booking or let us know as soon as possible so your place can be offered to someone else and we can cater thoughtfully and minimise food waste.
