    Event description

    Ending Youth Homelessness

    You’re Invited to an Evening of Film and Storytelling

    Join us for a special screening of a 40-minute film exploring the powerful stories of young adults; experiencing homelessness and thriving despite adversity, within our Gold Coast community. The film will be followed by an engaging panel discussion and opportunity for Q & A, on ending youth homelessness, local solutions, collective action and ways to support.

    Hear from voices with lived experiences, advocates, and experts as we explore how storytelling can be a bridge to empathy and solutions.

    📅 Date: Monday 16th December 2024
    Time: From 5.30pm Arrival, 6pm Screening
    📍 Location: Event Cinemas Coomera (Coomera Westfield)

    This event is more than just a film screening—it’s a call to action. Together, we’ll uncover ways to:

    • Challenge misconceptions and create understanding around homelessness.
    • Support meaningful change in our community.
    • Foster compassion and involvement through collective effort.

    RSVP today and bring a friend. Let’s work together to build a community where everyone has a chance to thrive.

    For young people 12-25 years old - $10 (including a mini popcorn)

    * For adults 25 years and over - $15

    * For children under 12 years old- $10 (including a mini popcorn) (sorry, must be accompanied with an adult)

    **If you’d like to sponsor a young person, select that ticket type and just type “young person” for the name. We will then gift them 😊

    It is with sincere gratitude this project was delivered through a generous grant from City of Gold Coast.

    This is a collaborative partnership between young adults, GCYS & Studio Luma.

    We look forward to seeing you there!
