Event description

Endless Grooves continues our series of parties at Ancient World showcasing some of the finest talent in soulful, underground music.

We’ll be joined by Eddie C – The Canadian crown prince of downbeat disco and a leading figure in the global House, Disco and Balearic crossover community for more than a decade.

Having released an impressive array of edits and original productions, Eddie is the Owner and operator of Red Motorbike Records since 2009 and has releases on labels including Endless Flight, Wolf Music and Lumberjacks in Hell. His talents as a remix artist has seen him work with fellow producers such as Move D, Francis Inferno Orchestra and KZA.

Behind the DJ booth, Eddie has headlined at renowned festivals such as Montreux Jazz Festival, Movement and Mareh and performed in some of the world’s most well respected and longest running nightclubs such as Berghain Panorama Bar, Rex Club, Circus and Corsica Studios among others.

His music has been featured in esteemed music publications including Mixmag, Groove and Resident Advisor as well as world renowned radio shows including Beats In Space, Red Light Radio, Red Bull Music Academy, The Lot Radio and Dublab in addition to mixes for Boiler Room and Mixmag Lab.

With a style that is both sprawling and wild, we look forward to experiencing what his eclectic and passion-fuelled set has to offer.

Ancient World has a flight of 6 stairs to enter the bar and dance floor via the beer garden. We won’t be using any strobes or flashing lights, but there will be haze.

We acknowledge that this event takes place on Kaurna Yerta, and that music, art, and culture have been shared here for many thousands of years. We pay respects to Elders past and present. Always was, always will be.
