Endometriosis: In conversation and Consultation

Our Symposium event takes place over two sessions, the first being our 'In Conversation' Session, featuring a panel of inspiring EndoWarriors, including Hoda Hannaway, Holly Crawford and Donna Ciccia. Each sharing their experiences and advice, hosted by the amazing Ellie Angel-Mobbs.

In this session, Ellie asks the question "What would you tell your younger self?"

The second session, the 'In Consultation' portion of the event, is hosted by Endometriosis Australia’s Medical Director and Chair, Prof. Jason Abbott. Featuring an impressive line-up of medical experts, including A/Prof. Anusch Yazdani, Dr Amani Harris, Dr Emma Readman, Dr Danny Chou, and Dr Erin Nesbitt-Hawes. Prof. Abbott leads this panel, as they discuss medical and surgical options for EndoWarriors.

In this session, we will be delving into some hot topics including “Surgery for endometriosis and its extremes. Can it ever be too far?”, covering multiple surgeries; hysterectomy, ultra-radical surgery and who should be doing the surgery.
