Are you struggling with your energy bills?

If so, join Anglicare Victoria, hosted by City of Whittlesea’s Sustainable Environment, to take action.

The Victorian Government’s Energy Assistance Program is a free service to help Victorians having trouble paying their energy bills.

The first hour of each session will cover:

Understanding energy bills
Finding, comparing and switching to a better energy offer
Applying for utility relief grants and concessions
Extending payment deadlines or applying for hardship programs with energy providers
Reducing bill costs (how to reduce energy consumption at home)
Linking with local services and warm referrals to other services such as financial counselling or the Energy and Water Ombudsman

After the session, attendees will have time to access one-on-one support from Anglicare and can walk away feeling empowered to take control of their energy bills themselves.
