Orion Future Energy Scenarios
Orion has been developing future energy scenarios to test a range of credible pathways for the future of energy in our region. We are establishing these scenarios as a tool to aid our understanding of the developing needs to meet the energy transition in our region, and the potential impacts for our customers and stakeholders.
The scenarios reflect the possible pathways for development of new technology, new demands for and generation of electricity, and new ways that consumers might interact with the energy system. The scenarios are not a forecast. These scenarios establish plausible futures for the energy sector in our region at 2050, so that we can understand the way that pathways could develop, or how we could influence them.
